1. Koncert „U susret SVEM-u“, 9.5.2019, 20:00, Bošnjački institut
U okviru jubilarnog 25. izdanja festivala Sarajevske večeri muzike, Fondacija za muzičke umjetnosti nastavlja tradiciju predstavljanja široj javnosti najuspješnijih mladih muzičara iz zemlje i regiona. Na taj način aktivno participira u kreiranju i održanju muzičke scene fokusirane upravo na podsticanje rada mladih umjetnika u svojim matičnim sredinama.

Concert „U susret SVEM-u“, May 9, 2019, 8 pm, Bosniak institute
In the frame of the 25th edition of the Festival Sarajevo Music Evenings, Music Arts Foundation continues the tradition of presenting the most successful young musicians in the country and the region to the wider audience. In this way, MAF actively participates in creating and sustaining of the musical scene focused precisely on the support for young artists in their native environment.

 

2. Koncert otvaranja, Ivo Pogorelić i Sarajevska filharmonija, 10.5.2019, 20:00, Narodno pozorište Sarajevo
Jubilarno 25. izdanje SVEM-a donosi ponovno gostovanje jednog od najznačajnijih pijanista današnjice u Sarajevu, koncert maestra Ive Pogorelića. Za večer svečanog otvaranja Festivala maestro Pogorelić će nastupiti uz orkestar Sarajevske filharmonije i dirigenticu Samru Gulamović, izvodeći na posve jedinstven način jedno od najljepših djela pijanističke literature, čuveni Koncert za klavir i orkestar br. 2 u c molu ruskog kompozitora Sergeja Rahmanjinova.

Festival opening concert, Ivo Pogorelić and Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra May 10, 2019, 8 pm, National Theatre Sarajevo
The 25th jubilee edition of SVEM brings to Sarajevo yet another concert-visit of probably one of the most influential pianists, maestro Ivo Pogorelić. For the grand Festival opening night meastro Pogorelić will perform accompanied by the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Samra Gulamović, presenting in his entirely unique manner one of the most magnificent works of piano literature, famous Piano Concerto No. 2 in C Minor written by Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff.

 

3. Koncert „Un Viaggio“, 11.5.2019, 20:00, Narodno pozorište Sarajevo
Drugo festivalsko veče bit će u cjelosti posvećeno novom muzičkom projektu pod nazivom „Un viaggio“ koji na vrlo autentičan način predstavlja neke od najpoznatijih melodija muzičke prošlosti. Projekat u okviru kojeg će biti izvedene neke od najpopularnijih pjesama talijanskih, španskih, latinoameričkih kompozitora, kao i muzika za film, djelo je četiri istaknuta muzičara, ujedinjena u misiji kreiranja novih zvučnih dimenzija već poznatog i nebrojeno puta izvođenog repertoara. Specifičan zvuk nastaje spajanjem jedinstvenog tenorskog glasa Zorana Todorovića i instrumenata: bandoneona Aleksandra Nikolića, gitare Zorana Anića, te kontrabasa Slobodana Gerića.

Concert „Soiree of songs and arias“, May 11, 2019, 8 pm, National Theatre Sarajevo
The second Festival night will be entirely dedicated to the new music project named „Un viaggio“, in a rather authentic manner presenting some of the most famous melodies of musical past. The project, featuring some of the most popular tunes of Italian, Spanish, Latin-American composers, as well as music for film, is a result of a creative collaboration of four distinguished musicians, united in their mission of creating new sound dimensions for an already known and countless times performed repertoire. The specific sound is created by merging the unique tenor voice of Zoran Todorović with various instruments: bandoneon of Aleksandar Nikolić, guitar of Zoran Anić and double bass of Slobodan Gerić.

 

4. Koncert Gudački kvartet Tartini i Darko Brlek, 13.5.2019, 20:00, Bošnjački institut
Gudački kvartet Tartini iz Slovenije se za 25. izdanje SVEM-a vraća u Sarajevo uz novi program kamerne muzike na kojem će se pridružiti i klarinetista Darko Brlek. Od kamernog djela za gudače jednog od najznačajnijih slovenačkih kompozitora, Lucijana Marija Škerjanca, preko Kvinteta za klarinet i gudački kvartet u B duru Carl Maria von Webera, do jedinog Gudačkog kvarteta iz pera Maurice Ravela, onog u F duru, muzičari Tartini sastava kreirali su koncizan, no u svakom slučaju stilski raznovrstan muzički sadržaj koji zasigurno zadovoljava različite muzičke ukuse.

Concert String Quartet Tartini and Darko Brlek, May 13, 2019, 8 pm, Bosniak institute
String quartet Tartini from Slovenia will return to Sarajevo for the 25th edition of SVEM with a new chamber music program, featuring clarinetist Darko Brlek as a concert guest. From chamber work for strings written by one of the most important Slovenian composers, Lucijan Marija Škerjanc, through Clarinet Quintet in B-flat Major of Carl Maria von Weber, to the only String quartet written by Maurice Ravel, that in F Major, musicians of the Tartini ensemble created a concise, but yet stilistically versatile musical content, certainly satisfying various musical tastes.

 

5. Koncert Jure Cerkovnik, 14.5.2019, 20:00, Crkva sv. Josipa, Marijin Dvor
Mladi slovenački gitarista sa švicarskom adresom, Jure Cerkovnik nastupa po prvi put u okviru festivala Sarajevske večeri muzike uz program u cjelosti posvećen kapitalnim djelima za klasičnu gitaru. Nedavno otkrivena Sonata za gitaru u a molu austrijskog kompozitora Ferdinanda Rebaya čini izuzetnu kombinaciju sa čuvenom Cavatinom Alexandrea Tansmana, dok program upotpunjuje jedno od najznačajnijih gitarističkih djela uopće, Nocturnal after John Dowland Benjamina Brittena, kao i jedinstven zvuk gitarističkih valcera Agustina Barriosa Mangoréa uz njegovo virtuozno tremolo-ostvarenje Un sueño en la Floresta.

Concert Jure Cerkovnik, May 14, 2019, 8 pm, St Joseph Church, Marijin Dvor
Young Slovenian guitarist living in Switzerland, Jure Cerkovnik will debut on the Sarajevo Music Evenings Festival with a concert program entirely dedicated to the major works written for classical guitar. Recently discovered Sonata for guitar in A Minor written by Austrian composer Ferdinand Rebay makes an exceptional counterpart to the famous Cavatina by Alexandre Tansman, while the program is complemented by one of the most important guitarist works overall, Nocturnal after John Dowland written by Benjamin Britten, as well as a set of guitar waltzes of Agustin Barrios Mangoré along with his virtuoso tremolo-work Un sueño en la Floresta.

 

6. Koncert Duvački/Puhački kvintet SLOWIND, 15.5.2019, 20:00, Crkva sv. Josipa, Marijin Dvor
Jedan od najznačajnijih slovenačkih kamernih ansambala, Duvački/Puhački kvintet SLOWIND nastupit će premijerno u Sarajevu u okviru 25. izdanja SVEM-a. Ansambl koji je svoj umjetnički credo oblikovao oko fenomena nove muzike, te avangardnih stremljenja predstavljenih i festivalom savremene muzike, čiji su nosioci, predstavit će koncertni program koji najbolje daje uvid u svestranost i raznovrsnost njihovih umjetničkih interesovanja. Od djela Scarlattija i Mozarta, do ostvarenja Zemlinskog, Hindemitha i mlade slovenačke kompozitorice Nine Šenk, program je ujedno i portret samog ansambla, onog koji se vješto snalazi i uspješno plovi posve različitim muzičkim vodama.

Concert Wind Quintet SLOWIND, May 15, 2019, 8 pm, St Joseph Church, Marijin Dvor
One of the most important Slovenian chamber ensembles, Wind Quintet SLOWIND will for the first time perform in Sarajevo within the 25th edition of SVEM. The ensemble, which established its artistic credo around the phenomenon of new music, as well as avant-garde strivings presented through the festival of contemporary music, under their direction, will present a concert program which gives a best insight into the versatility and variety of their artistic interests. From works by Scarlatti and Mozart, to compositions of Zemlinsky, Hindemith and young Slovenian author Nina Šenk, the program is at the same time a portrait of the ensemble itself, the one which skilfully manages to navigate quite different musical waters.

 

7. Koncert Ženski vokalni ansambl Corona, 16.5.2019, 20:00, Crkva sv. Josipa, Marijin Dvor
Drugi koncert Ženskog vokalnog ansambla Corona u okviru festivala Sarajevske večeri muzike donijet će još jedno nezaboravno muzičko iskustvo, i ovaj put u znaku tradicionalne muzike Balkana interpretirane na autentičan način kroz pregršt inovativnih aranžmana. U zadatom muzičkom okviru u fokusu će se naći obrade sefardskih pjesama kojim je ansambl obogatio okosnicu vlastitog tradicionalnog programa, dodajući još jedan značajan sloj svojim svakako višedimenzionalnim pristupima muzici.

Concert Female Vocal Ensemble Corona, May 16, 2019, 8 pm, St Jospeh Church, Marijin Dvor
The second concert of the Female Vocal Ensemble Corona within the festival Sarajevo Music Evenings will bring yet another memorable musical experience, once again marked by the traditional music of the Balkans interpreted in the authentic manner through plenty of innovative arrangements. In the set musical frame the focus will be placed on the arrangements of Sephardic songs, with which the ensemble enriched its programatic outline, adding yet another important layer to their already multidimensional approach to music.

8. Koncert Gioachino Rossini: Stabat Mater, 17.5.2019, 20:00, Crkva sv. Josipa, Marijin Dvor
Završni koncert 25. izdanja festivala Sarajevske večeri muzike u cjelosti je posvećen djelu znamenitog talijanskog opernog kompozitora Gioachina Rossinija, Stabat Mater. Riječ je o jednom od njegovih rijetkih duhovnih djela, u finalnoj verziji praizvedenom 1842. u Parizu, kojeg čini 10 muzičkih segmenata među kojima se smjenjuju solistički, horski brojevi, te dueti i kvarteti. Soliste Aidu Čorbadžić, Amira Saračevića i Ivana Šarića će pod dirigentskom palicom maestra Ive Lipanovića pratiti Hor Opere Narodnog pozorišta, kao i orkestar Sarajevske filharmonije.

Concert Gioachino Rossini: Stabat Mater, May 17, 2019, 8 pm, St Joseph Church, Marijin Dvor
The closing concert of the 25th edition of Sarajevo Music Evenings is entirely dedicated to the work written by the notable Italian operatic composer Gioachino Rossini, his Stabat Mater. It is one of his rare sacral works, in its final version premiered in 1842 in Paris, comprised of 10 musical segments combining solo and choral numbers with duets and quartets. Soloists Aida Čorbadžić, Amir Saračević and Ivan Šarić will be accompanied, under the baton of maestro Ivo Lipanović, by the Operatic Choir of National Theatre, as well as by the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra.

 

9. Radionice za studente muzike o jazz harmoniji s Rankom Rihtmanom, 13.-17.5.2019.
U okviru 25. SVEM-a bit će organizirane i petodnevne radionice za studente muzike koje će voditi kompozitor i aranžer Ranko Rihtman. Cilj je upoznati mlade muzičare sa osnovama jazz harmonije kroz analizu i izgradnju harmonijskih progresija karakterističnih za autore i djela koja se svode pod odrednicu jazz.

Masterclasses for Students of Music on Jazz Harmony with ranko Rihtman, May 13 – May 17, 2019.
Within the 25th edition of SVEM five-day workshops for music students will be organized, lead by the composer and arranger Ranko Rihtman. The goal of the workshops is to introduce the young musicians to the fundamentals of jazz harmony through the analysis and establishment of harmonic progressions characteristic for the authors and works labeled as jazz.
